Motmot Treks
A birdwatching outing in the forest of Tecpán, with a guide, transport from the city and binoculars provided. No experience needed: just the will to walk slowly and look up. The best way to switch off from the noise of the capital in a single morning.
What I liked most:
💰 Included: Transport from the city, guide, entrance fee, binoculars on loan and a snack. Breakfast is not included, but we all have it together at the Rincón Suizo.
🕒 Hours: Occasional departures: 6:00 am from the city, back at 1:30 pm. Dates are announced on their site and their Instagram.

☀️ Best time: Early morning, when the birds are most active
💡 My tip: Dress in layers: Tecpán is cold at dawn and the sun hits hard by midday. And if you have never used binoculars, don't worry, the guide will show you in two minutes.
